Why I Teach Abundance Acceleration &
Why It’s Absolutely Critical To Your Success!
Imagine you’re the main strike bowler of a cricket team. For those who don’t know cricket, the captain has a game plan, and he expects his bowlers to play to that game plan. For example, the captain will set an “Off -Side” field; meaning, the game plan is to bowl the ball on the off-side. (If the bowler does that, chances are no runs will be scored. However, bowl on the leg-side to this field and you’ll cop a beating.)
But let’s assume you vehemently disagree with the captain. He wants you to bowl off-side but you’re convinced the leg-side is better. You think he’s stupid for not seeing it your way. But you must implement the captain’s game plan. Must do what you’re told and bowl to the off-side.
Let me ask you… in this situation… how effective will you be?
Not very…
But this is exactly the same situation many folks in The Wellness Industry wind up with. Their subconscious mind is in conflict with their conscious mind. The conscious mind is joining coaching groups, learning marketing, going to seminars, setting goals… trouble is, the conscious mind is giving directions to a subconscious mind in severe conflict. How effective will you be?
It’s what Dr Maxwell Maltz teaches us in Psycho-Cybernetics about our inability to outgrow our self-image. In order to reach and maintain true abundance, your subconscious must be in abundance as well.
So when I provide my students with a “clinic building game plan” and powerful tools and systems, many of them were like the bowler above… emotionally unable to implement the captain’s plan.
Anyway, I knew early on if I wanted true, long lasting success for my members, I had to deal with the critical mind set issues. There was no getting around this important revelation.
For years, I had been coaching patients on this critical issue. I’d identify the successful traits and release the saboteurs that were holding them back. Now it was time to teach my Wellness Group the same principles.
I can still remember that first time I brought this up to my coaching members. I spoke about Abundance, and how we can attract abundance into our clinics and into our lives. And boy, did I strike a nerve. I’ve never seen my members so attentive and alert… their fingers working on overtime as they madly scribbled down notes.
Here’s what you’ve got to understand. Usually at these closed-door meetings we discuss marketing strategies, team building techniques, systems and so on. This is the kind of information that transforms clinics into profitable businesses. It’s fun, exciting, and I never get sick of their success stories.
However, this meeting was different. This time I spoke about mind-set and abundance… and how we attract riches or rags into our own lives by what we think about. I gave it to them straight and didn’t pull any punches… revealing the 3 critical beliefs that sabotage a successful future.
It was a productive meeting; and my members thirstily lapped up my words… they just couldn’t get enough!
It was like I flipped a switch, instantly turning on their full potential and unblocking negative emotions and beliefs about money and success, clearing a way for true abundance to enter their lives!
But frankly, this talk was way overdue!
That’s because for many Wellness Industry Professionals, money is never discussed. It’s taboo… as if money itself is evil and not to be talked about. It’s like if we are successful, we’re somehow short-changing our patients… if we make too much money, we’re being greedy and robbing our patients.
I call this our…
Pious Attitude
What do I mean by Pious Attitude? Simply this…
… we’re so busy helping others that the very thought of helping ourselves seems ungrateful and not congruent with our core beliefs. In fact, many would treat patients for nothing if they had the choice!
No wonder many Practitioners are struggling with these kinds of beliefs! No wonder many of our colleagues burn out!
Let’s look at the facts…
* FACT: Many Wellness Industry Professionals work long hard hours, suffering in silence and barely making a living. * FACT: 10% of Acupuncturists, Herbalist & Naturopaths make less than $5,000 a year! * FACT: 19.6% make between $20,001 -$30,000 * FACT: A WHOPPING 21.5% make between $30,001 -$50,000 And that’s Gross Income for crying out loud! Our colleagues are suffering! And what’s worse, only a mere 6.1% make more than $100,000 gross a year.
